Ocala, Florida | Teddy & HayiAs a wedding photographer, sometimes when I'm photographing my young couples, I try to imagine them celebrating their anniversary in later years. What will their journey look like? How many kids will they have? How will they stand in the storms? Having been married now for twenty, I understand how challenging marriage can be, yet I wouldn't change a thing. Looking back on my wedding photos makes me fall in love all over again. I believe that's why I'm so passionate about my photography. I want that for my young couples. I want them to fall in love all over again! Recently a dear friend asked me to photograph her parents to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. I was intrigued. I'm always curious to know people's love stories. This one melted my heart... When Hayi moved into Teddy's neighborhood he was smitten, She was 13, he was 17 when he gave her a promise ring. (Pictured above with his wedding band) Seven years later, they married! Hayi explains a strong, long lasting marriage consists of love and trust. Congratulations you two! It was such a pleasure celebrating such a wonderful milestone with photos! What a treasure and a legacy for your family! Thank you for sharing your story with me! *The LOVE sign used in this session was created by Black Pearled Upcycled. Rebeca is so creative, you'll want to check out her products and furniture as well!
